I’m looking to buy tickets for the Man-united game October 14th. any idea on the best way to procure tickets. LFC seems to be out. Seems like stub hub will only delivery to UK addresses.

    • Kylian Mmmbopp

I can lend you my uk addess

  • RedNeve

I wish the press would just stop asking him the same question over and over! I know it’s the big thing at the moment but how many ways can he say he’s not for sale?

And perhaps if the spotlight goes off Couts (the ungrateful little fucker) then he’ll realise that Liverpool have made him the player he is and he’ll show a bit of respect!!

  • Steinhaus

Let’s at least get Phil cup tied before we sell him…

    • Pierre Levert

There were a few comments about being cup tied over the last few days, so I just looked it up on the UEFA site
“However, a player can play for one club in the first, second and third qualifying round, and/or the play-offs, of the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League, and then represent another club from the group stage of either competition.”

      • Steinhaus

So then that would also apply to Seri and Insigne, who we have recently been linked with. I was wondering about them also. Good to know. Thanks!

  • Kylian Mmmbopp

Liverpool squad: Mignolet, Moreno, Lovren, Milner, Matip, Wijnaldum, Origi, Gomez, Klavan, Flanagan, Can.

I hope pool lineup here get shredded to pieces and we can quickly make up our mind to dump these useless brainfarters.

    Hope my wish comes true.

    • OldFlaky

You are hoping your own team loose? Way to go. I hope we win, but still feel gutted about the development recent days and that depression inks my expectation.

      • Kylian Mmmbopp

I have to lower my expectations for this game to a horror show.

  • Koma

Naah. This was thing I had a fear of. A weak and a knackered squad. Considering Mane, Bobby and Salah almost played the entire game, dont know how energetic will they be. It would be too much to expect from the young guys like Kent, Grujic and TAA to perform at this stage. So heres hoping that we somehow fight for a 0-0 or a smash and grab kind of win and then bring it on at Anfield.

    • Stan Dinaround

Klopp needs to utilise his subs better during the season, or we risk injuries and fatigue to the front 3. Surely guving subs minutes helps improve our bench too…

      • RobbieTheReindeer

I agree with this. I was speaking to my German friend about the sub situation and he says it is normal in Germany to make later subs or none at all. Not really a good idea given the intensity of the prem

      • DaBandit

Agreed, but Kloop’s subs on Saturday were atrocious to say the least. Pulling off our best attackers and going into a defensive shell, knowing full well we can’t defend was what cost us the game, not the offside goal (which I do understand was blatantly offside).

  • Riiseandshine

Just goes to show how important a real Director of football is..Not a fucking statistician! Klopp had Zorc at Dortmund…Here it’s a fucking shitshow ..Amateur hour every fucking window

    • DaBandit

Couldn’t agree more. Never in my wildest dreams could we have had a worse transfer window then we had two years ago when we lost saurez and look to my astonishment we have lowered the bar yet again. Tired of the club announcing sponsorship deals, unveiling new LFC superstores, improving the brand by flying the players all over the world for meaningless games. Let’s announce some quality players and unveil them instead. I realize there is two weeks left in the window but if you really think we are gonna make some big splash and sign a high profile player or two you are sadly mistaken. Heaven forbid that FSG can’t show growth on the bottom line.

      • Riiseandshine

It’s a disgrace. This window really has been an embarrassment. Public courtship all for show..zero follow through as ever. Like the guy at the bar talking about the women he could have, but we all know he’s heading home for a wank instead…

    • MightyDiego

I fear for you dude. So much anger, bordering on self-loathing. But it’s all good, a real fan you clearly are. Very amusing as well.

  • Riiseandshine

Why the fuck am I seeing a European squad with Flanagan’s name in it?…Where is the super fit!!, fitter than ever before!!! Sturridge..Oh he’s not fit?….Same shit different season

    • Anon A Mouse

Because the lad has that two footed tackle in him that makes all in the Kop wet.

      • Riiseandshine

He can fuck off and two foot tackle the dole queue for all I care. he’s shite

    • Quicky Zebra

The fitter than ever sturridge is just a spin isn’t it. Like the 200m warchest that the Echo is banging about.. we’re spending even lesser than Huddersfield.

  • Quicky Zebra

This doesn’t look likw a squad ready for europe. Yes there’s injury and what nots but having to go through the same transfer rumours bollocks when the season have started is quite ridiculous. Clubs know we’re now getting desparate in getting a CB in and another midfielder if we sell couts. How is this ideal for thw preparation. Amateur stuffs from Edwards.

  • Stan Dinaround

Its safe to say, that squad doesnt look like a top teams squad.. 1 or 2 might make the squad of Juve, or Bayern, but squad, not starting 11.. Liverpool never have a squad that people look at and go, wow! thats a great squad… And this one, for Europe, looks weak.

    • KeithSA

The same Bayern that we destroyed in the Audi cup?

      • Stan Dinaround

Pre season, or have people forgotten it was preseason, confused it for an important match have we… This is the problem…we got carried away…complete and utter bollox.. welcome back to reality.. Wait to see how we fair against Bayern in full flow..

        • KeithSA

one draw is not a total disaster and the draw occurred on a mistake by the match officials. Teams will play worse and win and much better and loose give it time to unfold before we start with the night of the long knives please

          • Stan Dinaround

I admire your blind faith, but lets see things without the rose tinted glasses… That game was a carbon copy of every game we struggled to compete in last season and the one before that, and the one before that.. Forgive me if patience is alittle thin… We are supposed to be progressing, but we are not.. Blaming refs for decsions is just another excuse for people to use… I am not being unreasonable to have hoped for even a slight improvement in the way we approach and manage these types of games… It is however unreasonable to constantly expect unwavering support in the face of clear and uninterupted bollox.

          • Anon A Mouse

And then you have our loveable messiah that claims that there isn’t 5 better defenders in the whole wide world than the ones that Liverpool has. If our lovable messiah’s surname was Rodgers he would have been called deluded and ridiculed to no end.

          • KeithSA

Yep sack Klopp FSG out bring back Woy

          • Anon A Mouse

So I take it you agree with the loveable messiah that we have the top 5 defenders in the world at Liverpool then?

          • KeithSA

No I agree we should not throw all our dummies out the cot because we drew the first game

          • Anon A Mouse

As if it is the first time in our history that we’ve drawn a game in such a manner.. oh wait it isn’t and I will bet you anything it will not be our last. Only people not seeing that seems to be our loveable messiah (and maybe you as well 😉 ).

          • SuarezSticksIt2U_Again

What exactly is your issue with Klopp?

          • Riiseandshine

You’re just taking the extreme view and taking the piss Keith. I’m finding it hard to find a point against what Stan said….Where is the improvement? I love Klopp and he has my unwavering support, but come on. We’re talking about trying to build a team to challenge for the title and we got taken apart by Watford….Simply because they wanted it more! That’s disgraceful.. The defence and midfield were an absolute shambles….Klopp keeps banging on about working with the same group and developing…Well, where is that development!? It’s the same old shite trotted out time and again against a side that wants it more than us..That’s a massive problem! How do you expect this group to challenge for anything when they’re some mentally weak? There’s zero leadership through the whole team..Starting from the keeper, (who loves shouting in the tunnel, like a fucking moron though) the whole way through to the forward line…

Just because you choose to ignore it, doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist…..

          • KeithSA

So after one game, which we drew because of a referring error, we are useless lost the plot and the league and the reverse of that is City have won the Prem because of it. No chance to improve no chance to bring anyone in before the window closes, we just give up, rant, cry foul and blame Klopp. Just maybe a tad of an over reaction by some. Remember the shit start Chelsea had last year before Conte sorted things out and they went on to win the Prem. City came flying out of the blocks as well then hit a speed bump and came home in third. I agree the midfield was woeful on Saturday but I have every expectation that they will improve. Both Trent and Moreno had good games with Matip and Lovren not so great but it was that CB pairing that was our best combination and we have been trying everything expect kidnapping VVD to get him in. There are 37 games to go I think its a little early to throw the towel in, but just call be old fashioned.

          • Drewster

Now I have had time to calm down after the game, I agree we shouldn’t have drawn that due to a refereeing error, but equally more important , we shouldn’t have been in the situation where we could lose the points due to refereeing error. It was schoolboy stuff for the first two goals. Migs should’ve come for the first and just caught the corner (oh for a goalie that commands his box) and for the third, gone straight through the player, he would get the foul everytime.

          • Riiseandshine

I don’t have time to read or respond properly right now sorry ..but I will say it’s not one game..it’s over his 100 games..( I’ll read your reply properly later)

          • Riiseandshine

Tried everything to get van dijk? We haven’t even put in a bid ffs! We did send out an official, grovelling embarrassment of an apology though. Didn’t realise that’s used as currency to buy players now…Klopp needs to take some blame for our defensive frailties and his stubbornness in the transfer market, absolutely he does. I still thinks he’s the man for the job, I don’t think we could get a better manager. He’s got nothing behind him though. Americans ( that don’t give a fuck really) and a statistician…bullshit! We’ll improve but we’re still a million miles off a squad good enough to challenge

          • Riiseandshine

I reckon when City hold up that PL trophy in May, their fans will be thinking..”boy!, I really wish we had FSG instead of these big bad owners…winning sucks!” (yes Man City fans do talk like 1950’s american teens…”golll lleee”)

          • Stan Dinaround

Exactly, the difference between them, Klopp had already won the popularity contest, while folks are still calling Rodgers shite, even after his record breaking season with Celtic.. Yeah, It was Celtic and in Scotland, but he still did it in amazing style…

          • MightyDiego

What I’ve been saying but shouted down but chumps on this site.

          • globalcockup

Stan take a deep breath..breathe out positive thinking…..

          • Stan Dinaround

I can think as positive as the next guy, but when we continue to repeat the same old bollox time and time again, I fear positivity is just a waste…

    • Tbone187

Have to agree here…There isn’t a single payer in our squad here that would strike fear into the opposition.None. I’d fancy our local league guys against these okes if I’m honest. And I’m not kidding at all.

    • Quicky Zebra

There’s not much on the bench to change things round. Hoffenheim are one of the better sides w setpieces while we.. you know.. set piece = penalty kick. Having to go through work w the smug faces of united fans is tough. Just imagine the ridicule if we fail to get through this qualifiers.. urgh..

      • Stan Dinaround

Let them have their little moments… It just makes it all the sweeter when Mourinho gets sacked and leaves and aging exspensive bunch of losers behind.. Which based on his previous, is exactly what he will do..

    • special siren

I was thinking this squad would struggle in the championship nevermind the champions league.

      • Anon A Mouse

It’s basically the same squad as last season which means it’s a solid mid table premier league side.

    • Koma

Thats the I said we will end up 4th during the prediction. Not enough strength in the squad. Wish to be proved wrong though.

    • I would say Mane has that fear factor, defenders are terrified of his pace. But that’s really it,no other player commands respect among our rivals and opponents.Oh how I wish we sign quality player with attitude Carra had. Some kind of asshole that plays for the fans, wants to win and is not afraid to make a bone cracking tackle

    • MightyDiego

Were everyone available (with the exception of Coutinho) I’d say this is a good squad in need of a couple more players (in particular, a top-drawer ball winner to shield the back four, something I’ve been saying this for years – look what Matic does for Man U). I think Mane, Salah, Firmino, Matip, Can, Lallana, Wijnaldum and Migs (yes Migs) would be regulars in many of the top European sides. A healthy Sturridge and Hendo (played in the right position and without the responsibility of captain) would also feature in many top sides and Ward, Origi and Solanke will all come good shortly (remember Origi before that horror tackle at Everton?!). The problem with our team is not so much the overall depth but the weak links and lack of depth in certain positions.
