Welcome to Live Game Cafe! Premier League is finally back!!!!!
Following the 5-0 victory over FC Porto at the Estadio do Dragao in the Champions League last 16, first leg, the Reds jetted straight to Spain for a four-day training camp in Marbella.
They returned to Merseyside on Sunday evening and have spent this week readying themselves at Melwood for the visit of David Moyes’ resurgent West Ham.
Klopp believes the 10-day gap between fixtures could prove positive for his side; however, he is aware the Londoners will arrive at Anfield buoyed by a run of form that has elevated them to 12th position in the Premier League table.
Jürgen Klopp has no fresh injury concerns to contend with ahead of Saturday’s meeting with West Ham United.
Only Nathaniel Clyne, who resumed full training last week having missed the entirety of the season so far with a back problem, is set to be unavailable for the Hammers’ visit to Anfield.
When asked during his pre-match press conference on Friday whether he has any major doubts for the Premier League clash, Klopp replied: “Not really in this moment.
“Little things always; little stomach [problem] here and there, but should be OK. Nobody said today to me that they are still out, but we had one or two players with little issues. Stomach-wise, they should be OK, hopefully.
“[Nobody is a real doubt] in the moment, no.”
