Mo Salah says there is no animosity between him and Liverpool strike partners Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane over who scores the goals.
In fact, the Egyptian has revealed how the other two members of the Reds front three are going out their way to help him win the Premier League Golden Boot for top scorer.
Salah, who is currently joint top scorer with Harry Kane on 24, revealed how there is no infighting between him, Firmino and Mane over who is goalscorer and No 1 forward for Liverpool.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Salah said: ‘As a person, they are great, they try to help me, now that they know I am in a position fighting for the Golden Boot.
‘They give me every ball, they try to help me. They try to make me score every goal, they even let me take the penalties. They always try to help.
‘It’s not competition against us, it’s for us, as we want the team to win, to get the team points, so we all want to score.’
Liverpool face Manchester United on Saturday, with Salah coming up against Jose Mourinho, the man who sold him after an unsuccessful spell at Chelsea.
The forward bears no animosity towards Mourinho however, instead praising the United boss’ tactical acumen as he looked ahead to the match.
Salah said: ‘He is very smart, he plays the game very well. I worked with him for one year, I know how he works.
‘The game is like any other game, we need the three points. But they are second, we are third, there is big competition between us. I hope the game is open, and we enjoy the game, but it will not be easy.’
