Champions League Final Live Game Cafe!

Welcome, boys and girls, to the biggest game in the world of club football.

The venue: The National Stadium of Wales (Cardiff)

The KO time: 19:45 BST (20:45 CET)

Real Madrid CF vs Juventus FC

Hopefully, it won’t be too long before were able to see our beloved Liverpool play in it, but tonight we’ll have to settle for watching the two probably best teams in Europe go against each other, and be assured we’re going to be watching some magnificent football.

Juventus, probably the most complete team in Europe (though they reportedly still want Emre Can) play Real Madrid, the reigning champions and a record 11-time winners of UEFA’s most prestigious club competition.

It goes without saying that this game is huge for any player and any manager, but for Zinedine Zidane it probably holds more than for anybody else, since he is probably the best player ever to play for either team.

In fact, I consider him the best to ever play football anywhere, but that of course is a matter of opinion.

Sami Khedira, Gonzalo Higuain and Alvaro Morata will also be very excited to play against a team they’ve represented at earlier stages of their careers.

If you have some time to kill before the game, we suggest listening to one (or both) of our latest podcast shows, the TransFOAR – part 1: Safe Hands?, or the India FOARcast #3. If you’re in the mood for some light reading rather than listening, read my new piece on Jon Flanagan and join the debate in the comment section.

The line-ups for tonight’s big game will be posted here as soon as they are confirmed. Which ever team you’re supporting tonight, have a very pleasant evening and banter away in the comment section.

Cheers!
