Kevin Stewart leaves camp as Liverpool agree fee for Andy Robertson

As the deal for Andy Robertson slowly moves forward, it seems Kevin Stewart is set to move in the other direction.

Sky Sports, quoting an unnamed source, have reported that a fee for the Scottish left back, rising potentially up to £10 million, has been agreed.

As Jurgen Klopp seems not to be counting on the services of Alberto Moreno, the addition of Robertson will provide much needed cover, or perhaps competition, to vice-captain James Milner.

Meanwhile, Paul Joyce, the rather reliable northern football correspondent for The Times, claims that Kevin Stewart has left the camp to prepare for a move to Hull City for a potential fee of £8 million.

The 23-year-old defensive midfielder has been a part of the squad for a while now and obviously failed to impose himself in a measure sufficient to secure a future at the club as the manager seeks to upgrade his personnel and compete strongly on all fronts.

Joyce also reports that Liverpool have reached an agreement with Derby County over the loan of Sheyi Ojo.
