Liverpool go to court against Nike for ‘hiring’ Coutinho for Barcelona

Liverpool did not like the fact that Nike, Barcelona’s sports supplier, has announced the arrival of Philippe Coutinho to the Spanish club in the winter window of this season and promises to go to court for it.
According to what the British newspaper The Telegraph reports , the Reds will demand an “astronomical” indemnification of the American brand because of its “carelessness”.

According to the newspaper, coach Jürgen Klopp would be tired of speculation about the future of the best and most valuable player in his club.

“Where Magic Happens: Philippe Coutinho is ready to shine at the Camp Nou,” said the announcement on the official Nike website. After an hour he was taken off the air.

It is not known, however, whether it was a wrong advance by the brand, or if the page was hacked.

What is known is that Barcelona continues to treat Coutinho as a priority and wants to have it already in the next transfer window.

After offering a proposal higher than £ 115 million (around R $ 514.6 million) and still not close the deal, the Catalan board prepares an offer irrecusable to Liverpool to finally materialize the hiring.
