According to Sky Sports, who quote their own sources in Italy, Juventus are confident of completing the transfer of Emre Can in the next few days.
They claim Can has had a pre-contract agreement in place since January, even though the midfielder has denied that very thing.
After not playing since March due to a back injury, Can made substitute appearance in the Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid, and it seems that was the end of the road for his Liverpool career. With the club having signed Fabinho from Monaco, his departure shouldn’t be a big loss for the team.
After four years, 166 games and 14 goals in a Red shirt, it seems the time has come to say goodbye.
