Pepijn Lijnders had spent three and a half years at Liverpool before deciding to embark upon a career in management in January. However, it wasn’t meant to be as he was recently sacked from NEC.
Now, the Dutch coach has returned to Anfield once more, ready to stand by Jurgen Klopp again, the club have confirmed.
This is definitely a piece of good news. Meanwhile, there hasn’t been any new development on the situation with Željko Buvač. The Brain left his post a while ago due to personal reasons. He was linked to the vacant (at the time) manager job at Arsenal, but Unai Emery has now been appointed for the post.
Buvač remains an employee of the club on temporary leave.
