Mohamed Salah has signed a new deal, Liverpool have confirmed.
The “Egyptian King” has enjoyed an extremely fruitful season at Anfield. He scored 44 goals in 52 appearances in all competitions in 2017/18, while 32 of those goals he bagged in the Premier League and broke the record for the current 38-game system.
As expected, such numbers led to various speculations arising about his future given the stories of Luis Suarez, Raheem Sterling and Philippe Coutinho, with Real Madrid being mentioned the most. However, Mo signed the new deal and put a stop to any sensible discussion on the matter. James Pearce of the Echo claims it’s a five-year contract, with NO release clause.

Roberto Firmino signed a new deal a few months ago, and with Salah also committing his future to the club Jurgen Klopp’s vision of a stable high-quality team is gradually becoming a reality.
It looks like Liverpool FC really are doing things right this time around.
