After Salah limped off with a muscle strain whilst playing for Egypt, he was sent home early and the news looked grim for tomorrow’s game, but he returned to training on Thursday and is now said to be fit to face Huddersfield according to Michael Benson from TalkSport.
He also discussed the other injured players:
Van Dijk has been suffering with bruised ribs and he too was sent home early from International duty and did not feature in Netherland’s second match as a result, but he too returned to training on Thursday and is looking good for selection tomorrow also.
Midfield ace Milner has made a much quicker recovery from a hamstring injury than expected. Milner posted on his Twitter account saying that ‘it’s good to back’, but it’s debatable whether Klopp will risk playing the man on top form tomorrow and risk a further injury.

Fellow midfielder Adam Lallana who has hardly played any game time since the start of the season after sustaining a groin injury is also inline to return to action this weekend. However his fitness level mightn’t be up to scratch as of yet, when Klopp was asked if he was back in contention he replied, “Yes, of course! but we still need to be careful but he’s 100% back and looking really good in training “

Sadio Mane underwent surgery on a broken thumb that he too picked up while on international duty but according to Klopp’s press conference today he could still be in contention to play, but whether Klopp takes the chance remains to be seen.
Keita was carried off the field for Guinea after encountering a thigh issue and wasn’t at training on Thursday in Melwood and has been ruled out for this weekend.
Overall our injury news is a lot better than expected as key players will now be available for selection!
