Herbie Kane Signs New Deal

This morning, Herbie Kane arrived at Melwood to pen new terms that will see him stay at the club for the foreseeable future. The 20-year-old midfielder has been on loan at League One side Doncaster Rovers in the first half of the season and has agreed terms with the Rovers to extend his loan til the end of the season.

The England U17 international has been in fine form for Doncaster this season. He has managed to bag six goals and six assists for the Rovers in 26 appearances across all competitions. This fine form has obviously shown Klopp and club representatives that he may have what it takes to be a future star in a Liverpool shirt.

Him being rewarded with a new deal may see him play a part in the first team next season, after his loan with Doncaster ends. Kane could be one of the academy prospects to keep an eye on for the remainder of the season and the beginning of next.
