Ojo Joins Rangers on Loan

Sheyi Ojo has joined Glasgow Rangers on a season-long loan pending international clearance, both Liverpool and the Scottish club have confirmed.

He will, of course, be working with Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard, who is in charge of the Rangers team.

Having made 13 first-team appearances for the Reds, the 21-year-old winger has had loan spells in the Championship (Wigan Athletic, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham), as well as Ligue 1 with Stade de Reims last season.

Liverpool do need a versatile attacking player to join the first team as a backup option, but Ojo is simply not on that level yet. It remains to be seen whether he ever will be, but Jurgen Klopp will likely have his eye on the transfer market to see if a bargain can be found.

There is no doubt that Stevie will take good care of Ojo in Scotland.
