Rafa Camacho joins Sporting Lisbon

Liverpool have confirmed that they’ve agreed a deal with Sporting Lisbon for the transfer of Rafael Camacho and the youngster is set to return to his homeland.

The 19-year-old craves a first-team role, preferably on the right attacking flank, which is something the Champions League winners aren’t able to give him at the moment.

As you can see, the club will receive £5 million as a base fee, with another £2 million in potential add-ons. It seems a fair price for a player with just one Premier League appearance in the Red shirt, as well as one in the FA Cup.

The club are set to receive 20% of the fee for his next transfer, and will have the option of bringing him back if he is to move on in the future. They took the opportunity to send their best wishes to Camacho, who had joined the Academy in 2016.
