Fabinho ruled out until New Year

Fabinho has suffered ankle ligament damage in Liverpool’s 1-1 draw against Napoli in the Champions League on Wednesday, and he won’t be back in action before the end of the year, the club have confirmed.

The Brazilian picked up the injury by falling awkwardly and had to be replaced in the 18th minute of the game.

The period during which Jurgen Klopp won’t be able to count on his defensive midfielder is one of a jam-packed schedule, but luckily, the middle of the park is probably the one section where the Reds have plenty of options.
