Minamino to have Liverpool medical

Takumi Minamino of RB Salzburg is set to undergo a medical with Liverpool today (Wednesday), ahead of the proposed move when the January transfer window opens.

As you can see from The Times journalist Paul Joyce’s tweet, the 24-year-old Japanese international should become a Liverpool player officially at the turn of the year, and eligible to play in the FA Cup Merseyside Derby on January 5. The fee the Reds will pay for his services amounts to £7.25 million.

Here’s a small reminder of what he can do. Do any of these goals seem familiar?
