  1. so Balotelli ended up having to walk off the pitch because of racial abuse from the crowd…this world can be so infuriating at times, fucking pricks

  2. This season belongs to Sadio Mane! when we win the EPL and CL… He will be the next Ballon d’ Or winner!

  3. Goal 1: fantastic ball from mane.. Robbo scored.. Running back to mid… Ox no time wasting.. Picked up the ball.. And went back to mid…

Gol 2: massive job by Bobby, blocked 2 villa players, tried to create space for Mane… Good corner by Trent… Pure tactical!

Final wistle… Nobody really celebrated much, too focused till they forgot the game already ended… Juts hug and back to dressing room.. Just another win.. And let’s go back to anfield and get ready for the assholes!

Great mentality.. Monster giant.. Jurassic.. Name it… And for me being a fan for the past 35 years.. The best team I’ve ever seen so far…

They just keep going and going… Never a waste for any football fan to watch us playing.
They can give full blown heart attack!
    Just love this team!

  4. Pep talking about Mane at his post match conference..
Trying mind game to put it ref’s head…
I really wish Mane wil dive and get 100 penalties next week…

We will wait for u Pep…
You gonna see another stunner by Ox!

  5. Accidentally spent all afternoon in the local and was trying to watch the game on my phone. Stream died around the 85th minute at 1-0 but I was still insisting to an Arsenal supporter I was drinking with that there was no way we were going to lose this game. Manged to see a repeat of Robbo’s goal but completely missed Mane’s. Didn’t find out to a good deal later on that we had won. What a result! We just don’t know when to quit do we?

    1. Absolutely mate!
I said it a few weeks ago Clam.
We have an edge about us now, a deep routed refusal to give up.

    2. i blame you. we could’ve had it done by half time and rested our troopz if you’d have been here backin’n the lads.

  7. Villa loved it when they scored the winner against Brighton in the 94th minute, now they know how I felt up there, ha ha fuck off Villa, come on you reds ~ bet City fans thought the gap was down to 3 points when Walker scored and we were still behind ha ha fuck off City too ~ happy days and Brighton won too, they play good football now and will probably qualify for Europe soon ~ ha ha fuck off you silly sod 🤣🤣🤣

    1. Honestly I was shitting bricks for those 20 mins we were behind them, thought we’d go to city with 3-4 points lead

  8. What a beautiful cross.. For a sharp header by Robbo…
Mane.. U deserve that goal! Fucking bring CITEH to Anfield next week.

    1. We all thought you’d gone to the garden looking through the window mate. How is the licking coming along ? 🤣🤣🤣

  9. I have just ordered myself a defibralator for may. Got my order in early cos this lot are gonna kill me.

    1. You’re not wrong there mate.

It’s not like this squad is going to make it easy for us fans by comprehensively winning matches early & the league by March

    1. Yeah really turned it around in the end. Was quiet rest of the match but a goal and assist when it mattered most.

      1. Gave everything for the shirt Kumar can’t fault him. But Hendo and Mo cannot hide today and well Gini was well hidden with his disappearing act

        1. Hendo was better in the 2nd half.. But I do believe bringing in Origi and Ox was the game changer..

          1. When Ox and Origi came on Hendo dropped deeper to 6 it looked like and Lallana had more freedom. I reckon in the absence of Fabinho, Henderson should be that 6.

          2. Yeah.. We could feel it today what will happen in the centre without Fab.
But I do give credit to Lallana.. Not a regular.. But did very well.

    1. Thinks he binned the settee mate and just stands in the garden looking through the window now 🤣🤣🤣

    1. Mane gave up a few fouls early, all of which led to free kicks, one of which led to a dodgy off-side goal that VAR allowed.

    1. Klopp doesn’t talk about our squad as much as Pep does. Just prepare to buy eleventeen centrebacks in January and STFU til then, Josep.

  10. Not a bad afternoon at all, local team won 3-1, could have easily been 8 or 9 -1, then saw the last 25 mins of the game at Villa in the social club, wish we didn’t have to come back from behind like this, but the lads did it and we keep on living on the edge, shame Saints couldn’t hold out for a point.

  11. Anyone want to take a wild guess which referee was the VAR that ruled Bobby’s goal offsides…..?
    .
    .
    .
    .
    .
    Martin Useless Fucking Twat Atkinson

    1. What a cunt. His dislike for us is so obvious he shouldn’t be allowed any form of officiating when we play

  12. Watford are dreadful. But don’t worry when we play them they’ll suddenly be as good as Brazil in 1958.

  13. hope the fact that we’ve kept breathing space means that Klopp will go full on heavy metal against shitty

  14. Nice of the powers that be to schedule our match vs City at 4.30 pm next Sunday…. Anfield gets very noisy when it’s dark…..

  15. Fucking team.. Fucking assholes…its always the heart attack way… Fuckkkkk… Love u boys.. Awwww

          1. As long as it’s Boxing Day 2070 I’m fine with that cos we gotta have won it at least a few times by then 🤣

          1. Seeing as we had a 17 game winning run, then the last time we failed to score woulda been last season so that’s why it’s hard to remember mate

  16. Heaton always has a good game against us. Used to be like this for Burnley when we played them and he was in goal

  17. Stopped coming cause I don’t like commenting in game, but Hendo is being ridiculous today, and Mo, Jesus Christ.

  18. None of those streams work, they only take you to the homepage. Cant somebody copy and paste the url from the stream pls?

  19. That goal can happen with the way we set up for those freekicks. It happens when you have such a high line, the run was good form that villa guy. Usually I’m a defender of hendo but he has been shite so far

  20. Wan Bissaka allowed Joshua King to take the ball on his chest, have a cup of tea, let the ball drop, collect the post, turn, make some beans on toast, then score. Ole in forever.

  21. Part of United’s problem is that they are a team that only feel comfortable when they are a goal ahead and teams have to come and attack them so they can play in transition….Any other game state and they run out of ideas….

    1. Rumours brewing that Gomez may be looking for an exit because of limited match time…and that Lovren may be looking for a January window move to Serie A.

  22. Lallana starts over Ox. Fab on the bench. Lovren continues to pair with Big Virg. Salah starts despite ankle concerns.

    1. I’m trying to look on the positive side and hoping that the Saints can upset the apple cart, but I could be wrong there…., wouldn’t be the first time

  23. Villa’s last home EPL game was against my local side, you know the one where Grealish was lauded on MOTD, I watched that game and while it was 11 a side Villa couldn’t get on the ball and Grealish didn’t get a bloody sniff. Brighton were cruising and went one up then Moy got himself sent off after 35 minutes and all of a sudden the missing wonderkid appeared, against 10 men they scored in the last minute of the first half and the 4th minute of injury time in the second, might be biased but if LFC pass the ball like Brighton did I think they’ll batter the crap out of them.

    1. wouldn’t have him near the squad, if he plays and gets a yellow tomorrow he’d miss the City game, given the choice I’d prefer he missed none of course but if I had to choose I’d rather he missed Villa than City.

        1. not with Grealish appealing for fouls all the time, he seems to have little resistance to gravity when an opponent approaches as far as I can make out (the new Giggs for me sitting on the grass arms outstretched, gets on my wick the little tosser)
I’d play Hendo as the 6 alongside Gini and Ox and have Jones on the bench, Brighton were able to pass through them quite easily and if they could then we should be able to carve them open on a regular basis without the need to risk Fabinho.

          1. Yes I’d go with that all day mate. Gini’s gone through a bit of a lull for someone of his class but, I’m he’ll bounce back. Ox is getting his fitness and confidence back game by game. He’s always good for a goal. 👍

          2. The diamond shape with ox behind the trios.. Will give us goals today….
            Rest Fab… And keep Gini +Hendo there…

But knowing Klopp.. With full of surprises at times… Haha.. I won’t be surprised if he plays Fab

    1. While I knew about a proposed winter break, I never realized it was this season until after reading that!

          1. I’m pinning my hopes on us having a clause in the deal that states our kits must be unique… although I sorely doubt it.

This may be the price we have to pay for breaking a deal with the devil for success.

  24. just a bloody joke, people in charge of our football couldn’t give a shit, all they care about is money, time for LFC to tell them to just fuck off, trouble is all the owners of all football clubs only care about money too so it ain’t gonna happen, lets hope players don’t pick up injuries which cock up our title hopes.
Was really disappointed with Naby Keita last night, looks like a dud signing to me, looks like our game is too quick for him and he seems to lack the strength to cope with the physical side as well, expected him to stand out against all the young players last night but he was totally anonymous and you could see the difference instantly when Jones came on, Klopp has a terrific record with new players but Keita and Karius look like the exceptions, looks like Karius is history but lets hope Keita can turn it around somehow.
Great game though really enjoyed it, typical fucking Arsenal conceding loads of goals at Anfield again, Dani Ceballos great pen lad 🤣🤣🤣

    1. like the way Klopp handled it this time round. ‘it’s their problem’. Impartial fans will want to see last nights kind of game again but Klopp is well within his rights to say if he thinks it will cause injury. Caribou and other sponsors will look elsewhere if we have to concede it and they won’t blame us.

      1. Yes, mate. We’ve shown what we can offer the neutral. If you want another bite of the cherry you need to accommodate us.

  25. Don’t know why I even bother to read the comments page in the Mail, we are getting hammered by trolls for wanting dicussions about the Villa cup tie dates. Many of these morons seem to struggle to put two words together let alone a full sentence, and some of those that can don’t have a clue what they are talking about.
Lesson to learn, only read FOAR………….

    1. The last time we had a know-it-all troll must have been 3 years ago…. we just don’t attract them!!

    1. I don’t understand why they wann make it big…
      We gave them options..
It’s either you give us what we want or let us go…

  27. Klopp : “Tonight I think a lot of people from the Premier League was watching in front of the television hoping that Arsenal can do it but… I’m sorry”

    PRICELESS… 😂😂😂

      1. We’ll destroy them this weekend just in case we have to give them a bye to the next round in the cup. 😉

        1. The first team will be well up for Saturday after last night’s match. I think Klopp is trying to encourage them to work with us about the fixture date, come what may I’m sure he’ll find a way to play both comps.

  28. Didn’t see the match live, got back home about 10pm and found highlights on Quest channel, had no idea at all of the score so as it was unfolding I was thinking ok we’re out, no we’re back in it, then we’re out…etc, crazy game, goals from the sublime to the ridiculous, no game touches football….

  29. I think Naby Keita’s race is run at Liverpool. It’s sad, but he is from the Daniel Sturridge school of crisps. I think this was one too many injuries for him. I hope I’m wrong about this because he has so much talent, but so has Studds.

    1. Yay… that’s the question mentality monsters ask. The others will throw arms up into the air and ask “how exactly do you score 5 goals and not win?” 😃

    2. Klopp did EVERYTHING to exit this competition tonight and Arsenal still found a way to send him through. 🤣

  30. The biggest boost will be if the boys can win on pens. There nowt like a shootout and it’s always the hard way. Why can’t we have one game where we win comfortably and completely stress free 😱

      1. I’m all for that but fuck me square if the fans don’t age a decade after matches like this. I feel like a geriatric ffs

      1. Your telling me pal. I’m bald and have no hands anymore either. I am on life support just for our games 🚑

  31. Anyone watch sesame st when they were kids ? The count was coaching the goons tonight and only got to 9 ah ah ah aaaaaah shit 🤣

  32. Didn’t watch the game though managed to wake up in between but tiredness just knocked me off again…
The comments below shows how good the game was.. And what an exciting young crops we have.
As Pep said.. This cup tournament is for them and I, really hope they let the kids to do the job.
The academy and senior players, we are on the right track for the next 10 years at least.
Let the kids learn the hard way to win matches..The Liverpool Way!

  33. Man we deserved this, what a performance from the kids. Came back thrice to win it, mentality monster juniors!!

        1. Fortes fortuna iuvat, fortune favours the brave and all that…

35 year old Latin remembered from school, I surprised myself there 😂

      1. Hard call but I think it’s important for kids to get some time, Adrian will probably get a run out in FA

  34. “We can talk about tactics but who cares on a night like this? I hoped for the boys they would have a game to remember. What they did tonight, I lost it really.

“If you don’t win nobody remembers it in three years, if it works out the boys will remember it forever.”

  35. Liverpool XI: Kelleher, Williams, Gomez, Van den Berg, Milner, Lallana, Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Elliott, Origi, Brewster.

    Substitutes:
Adrian, Jones, Kane, Larouci, Chirivella, Clarkson, Koumetio.

A lot of fresh faces! Don’t know where to start but I think our best chances come from midfield, let’s see!

  36. Liverpool XI: Kelleher, Williams, Gomez, Van den Berg, Milner, Lallana, Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Elliott, Origi, Brewster.

Substitutes: Adrian, Jones, Kane, Larouci, Chirivella, Clarkson, Koumetio.

  37. Ceballos said our team suffocated them in league game, well our fans suffocated him for his pen. We come as one Dani

  38. BIG COCK ORIGI….
Its official…. No one bigger than him.
Scoring all type of goals tonite.
    Fuck him… 🤣🤣🤣🤣

          1. Mine is big too.
            No worry mate…😁😁😁
One thing for sure… All those lads tonite surely have big balls to get this result.

  39. HAHAHAHA Dani Cabellos , how does it feel you Madrid wanker, what a SAAAVVE!!!
Neco to the rescue what a fucking whip lad !
Kids just wrote some very memorable history right there, what a foundation to build their confidence from.
    We have a great future.

      1. very sloppy in moments trying to be too cute and showy. just keep it simple at times im sure klopp and co will let them know

        1. Williams had himself a game tonight. Jones definitely made an impact from the bench. Good on him. Keita on the other hand…he looked very poor.

        2. Crazy that Elliot is only 16/17. Kept finding so much space to attack. Williams was a pleasant surprise. Jones seems to have matured too, much better than I remember bhim from previous games

  40. This is just taking the piss. 9 goals is a joke. We want to win all these trophies but this shows the massive need for 2 decent players for every position. I’m not saying spend spend spend btw just have a back up squad that’s at least on a par with the first team when it’s having a bad day. ( if that makes sense ). I can see this being 6-5 to us but it is a ridiculous game and Klopp should have played with a strong spine of first team players with the youngster playing around them. I am exhausted 😰

    1. I said at beginning of competition that there should be a mixture of experience and youth mate. Youngsters need that assurance that they arent gonna be wholly responsible for a defeat in a big game.

      1. I get the mixture Red but I think he’s gone a bit overboard with the youngsters tonight. I know they are sort of holding their own but after a game like this and if we lose it is a kick in the nuts knowing they ain’t gonna play the next game and if out the comp then who knows when they will play again. Confusing selection imo but I can see what he was doing. I don’t blame the boys or the boss but they weren’t ready for this I don’t think

        1. Completely agree mate, you cant make wholesale changes and think the drop off isnt gonna be huge. I’m all for bleeding in the young lads , but not 3 quarters of the team in one fell swoop, not against a practically first 11 from an established premier top 6 team , even though they are shite.

        2. Agree with issue of these kids not getting any more game time this season. This seems to be an issue every season. If only we can find enough a balance so the kids get a few games at least. Don’t care if we get eliminated in latter stages as purpose will be served.

    2. Klopp has fielded sub-par teams in domestic cups since he arrived. I’ll happily bow out if it means winning the league come May. Emery’s fighting for his job, and is throwing on first XI players. I’d rather not risk Big Virg against these.

      1. Yeh not on really mate. I will be a bit oussed tbh as arse have been shit and with a couple of more experienced first teamers we would be conceding less. Maybe lov n jogo in the centre and one of hendo gini or Keita as holding mid. Play the kids but don’t let them get punished.

      1. Slacker than a 50 yr old ho that’s shagged 30 a day for 35 years mate. A happy bunny I am not ☹️

  41. fuck me, just saw our bench.. eessh. do really well to win this one, a good klopping at ht and we should come out harder faster and tighter..
    damn whats wrong with me..

        1. From the Movie “Borat”: “When I buy my wife, at first she cook good, her vagine worked well, she strong on plow, but three years later when she was fifteen, she receive hair on her chest, her voice become deep, and her vagine hang like SLEEVE OF WIZARD.”

      1. This is wrong, it’s because it’s so freakin open.
Actually .. hmm maybe i’ve been wrong all this time ? lol

  42. As naive as we have been, we can still win this , arsenals defence is like a sieve. So is ours as well tbh

  43. Fucked it. What is it with league Cup and Klopp. Its a trophy FFS.

I hate Arsenal fans as well. Total cunts. Booing their own players and abusing their star striker in his car 🙄

  44. I guess they will learn from this the hard way, still time to get something out of this. This game is wide open.. mostly for them though , needs to change ASAP.

      1. Agreed. But I think Klopp is using this as a testing ground for making a match day squad for the likes of Brewster and Elliott against Arse’s 2nd team.

        1. Well he was the one that shook Dracula’s hand. Maybe hes overseeing the learner driver on his test

    1. VAR being switched-off. Not enough sponsor money from Carabao. They just go for the bronze sponsor package…😅😆

        1. unfortunately I can’t just load random software onto my machine. it’s locked down tighter than a nun’s cooter.

  45. Very excited for this game. KO will be at 3.30 am here and I couldn’t even get a nap. Can’t wait to see our young guns firing those arse. Line-up looks very balance and promising…

No matter win or lose,… Just go out there and have fun gunning down the gunners.

  46. So a kid called Neco Williams will apparently earn his prof debut tonight at RB?
    Never heard of him..
Edit: Gerrard described as ‘magnificent’ .. looking forward to this afternoon, not just the fact I won’t be working for the last 1.5 hrs of the day 🙂

    1. Heard one of Klopp’s academy favourite.. Kept it low to unleash him at the right time.
Unknown all these while.. Playing againts Arsenal, then there’s something in that boy…

      1. Let’s keep Origi as sub.. He only scores when his name on the sub list…. 😄
        Lets whack then with 4-4-2…

    1. Well this morning my neighbor around the corner has his house raided by the FBI. So I’m doing a lot better than he is.

    1. should’ve just walked in, said the ‘our identity is intensity’ line and then punched a hole through the table

  47. Just watched Pepijn Linders presser for the cup game. I’m really impressed by him.

I can see him managing LFC sometime in the future.

  48. We’ve got an edge about us now that I don’t feel we quite had last season. Yes we won the CL and played some mesmerising football along the way (Eg: whomping Barca 4-0) but, the steeliness to scrap It out when it isn’t going our way seems far more prevalent now.
That Spurs team had all their big hitters playing yesterday and, even when we went behind to that goal hanging twat, I always felt we’d beat them.

We’ll win the league and win it well.

    1. my only concern is that we are conceding more goals. Twice as many to be exact. we can’t seem to keep a clean sheet to save our lives.

      1. Oh definitely mate that’s undeniable!
I think it’s attributed to the fact we’re not playing that well at the minute. We’re winning games on resolve and potency of Mo and Mané. I expect our form to improve soon (there were signs of it Sunday) and I think our defence will improve along with it.

  49. So here’s a question.
Fab is currently sitting on 4 yellows. If he get another he’ll get a 1 match ban. Do we rest him for both the league cup and Villa away to ensure we have him for the City game? He’s been the rock in our midfield.

    1. Tough one cos he is such a vital cog in the machine now, but for me I would have to say yes. We should have enough to beat villa without him. I think he would have missed Arsenal game in LC anyways dok.

    2. Cup game we can rest him..
Againts Vila I’m not sure.. But it’s risky to play him as well.
Lets say he get a yellow in Cup game, can it be carried forward to Vila match? I think can but not so sure..
But vila match is as equally as important match againts City..
Every EPL match is like finals for us..

        1. does that mean we can start him tomorrow, whistle blows, Fab takes off his top (a la Bobby), get’s yellow and the gets subbed straight back off?

    3. Tough one cos he is such a vital cog in the machine now, but for me I would have to say yes. We should have enough to beat villa without him. I think he would have missed Arsenal game in LC anyways dok.

    4. Maybe let him come on as a sub or start in the cup game, get a yellow and rest him for the Villa game?

    1. Like it Geoff. If you can get the voice as subtle as his that’ll be top stuff cos he has quite a powerful higher pitch voice for a lot of his other songs. Go for it pal. Av a bash at paranoid too and see if you can be a rock god 👊🏻

          1. feels like just as Virgil gets a run with someone, they break….or get the fuck kicked out of them like JoeGo

          2. Hmm whats the best that can come of this.. I have a few ideas:
            1. He plays Lovren, realises he can’t be relied on and upgrades in January.
            2. Forces another stint pairing of Joe and VVD, which then creates a dynamic where 2 pairs of centerbacks (matip & VVD) and (Joe & VVD) have been acclimatised, ready for a strong 2nd half of the season.
            3. Gives Matip a rest.

          3. I do believe this is the best opportunity for Gomez to come and reestablish himself just like before the injury…
We know how good he was.. It’s just the form is out for now.

          4. I don’t think your a gnob at all pal. Maybe a knob but we all have that label so don’t be so hard on yourself. 🤘🏻
Edit – as soon as I posted I realised I said the words “hard on yourself” which is just an excuse to loosen the hammock for you so I apologise in advance for giving you ideas you probably already had but needed no rhyme or reason to get busy 🙏🏻

    1. Hes conceded more fouls than any other player in prem this season. Hes a constant walking suspension

  50. Counting Chickens before they hatch and all that but,
There’s a strong possibility City will be trying to avoid leaving ours facing a 9pt deficit 😳

    1. 9 would be ace, but as long as the deficit isnt reduced we should be happy with that. If we now start turning in performances like yesterday, and it’s been overdue, then I cant see any of the other teams beating us tbh Neve. We woulda played all the other 5 in top 6 plus Leicester and come out unscathed. Shitty would still have to play 4 of them.

        1. Looking at first 10 fixtures of the season, youd have to say Shittys was so much more favourable than ours , so for us to be 6 clear at this stage shows how hard we have become to beat. I would have been delighted to be 2 or 3 points clear after ten games let alone 6. Think if after the shitty game the gap increases, then it might just be too much and shitty will concentrate on CL. December could be a tricky month for us with the World Club championship involvement.

          1. You’re bang on mate.
Looking at our first 10 fixtures if someone had said we’d be in the league top two I’d have taken it all day long.

          2. Not sure how prestigous this WC championship is, I’d prefer to focus on the Holy Grail.
PS anyone heard from Keith SA?

          3. Well no british team has done the international treble , so for that reason alone it’s worth going for, but if it was gonna harm our chances of winning the league, then it would be wise to send a second string out there.

      1. Villa!, they blow hot and cold, never quite sure of anything with them, I have to admit that I quite like the Brummies though, not a bad bunch of guys , but we need a win there.

  51. I am getting really concerned about VAR now, the match officials seem to be all over the place with it, no idea how it is being viewed outside of the UK

    1. Arsenal goal that was ruled out was a joke also Geoff. It’s getting more wrong than right which is the polar opposite of what it was brought in for and that’s certainly not good.

  52. So, on to the small matter of the League cup, where our seniors will be rested, but given how Arsenal’s season has panned out so far, Unai will be desperate to get some good results, and obviously that means beating us. So, LFC 2nd XI vs. Arsenal 1st XI? Will Ox sink his former club? Will Adrian show us he’s still around?

  56. Kane : we dropped deep too much
Reporter: did u drop deep or forced to?
    Bean: abit of both…

    Lol…

    1. When you lose a CL final your manager’s and club’s true character is revealed. Ours is harder than GCSE maths.

    1. NIce stat:

Paulo Gazzaniga made 12 saves in Tottenham’s defeat to Liverpool, the most by a goalkeeper in the Premier League since David de Gea versus Arsenal in December 2017 (14).

        1. saw an actual story this morning that argued he’d be the perfect replacement for pep at city.

  57. Wish that shot by Trent in first half would have gone in… Wonder what was the speed of the shot…

  58. Fabinho IS World Class….That assist to Hendo for the first is Special….My favourite player on the team…
